Diversity Roundtable Research and Training Groups
Diversity Roundtable Research Group:
The terms of reference are to be determined, but the members of this group may be interested in:
* supporting early career researchers and PhD candidates
* sharing research already conducted in the area of diversity and equalities, perhaps in easily digestible format- such as a blog
* developing best practice guidelines for anyone wanting to research diversity in education
* creating a set of guidelines in order to triage proposals for relevance and ethical approach
* offering and providing access to potential research partners on the Diversity Roundtable mailing list for proposals which fit the guidelines developed
* applying collaboratively for research funding in line with the needs and interests identified by the broader Diversity Roundtable
*writing and publishing together
Diversity Roundtable Training Group:
The terms of reference are to be determined, but the members of this group may be interested in:
* initial teacher education
* MA-level teacher education
* diverse leadership programmes
* school-based and university-based teacher education routes
* endorsing, supporting and sharing established diversity programmes intended for school staff training (as many are currently under attack)
* teacher training policy
