Parent responses for 10th grade addition for 2024-2025 School Year.
Paschal Sherman Indian School is looking to expand year by year an additional grade starting with 10th grade in 2024-2025 school year. These are the listed reasons for making the proposal again for the new school year.

· Budget for the 24-25 school year would support the expenses needed for 2 additional teachers in Career Technology and 10th grade instruction with a focus of Science.

· The school would receive an additional funding for the 10th grade student count and a 1.7 (almost doubled) student count funding for CTE enrolled students in the high school. This is certificated program where students will have certificate/internship hours in the CTE teacher pathway at the high school. This is an alternative high school graduation pathway for students who have interest in CTE of Fish & Wildlife, Service Industry, and Financial Management.

· Space is available for additional classes as Head Start is moving into their new building.

· Superintendent position is filled and in preparedness of filling the principal position for the new school year.

· All curriculums have been purchased and accessible through text books with digital access for 20 students in each of the high school grades. This is HMH into curriculum programs which are used through grade 6th through 12th grade for Science, Social Studies, History, ELA, and Math.

· College in the High School opportunity for Language 1 & 2/Psychology 100 & 200 for 9th and 10th grade students. This would allow for a total 40 dual high school/college credit when finished with 10th grade.
