contact@vegtoria.caVegtoria is the only all-vegan veg fest on Vancouver Island and is celebrating its fourth year in 2020. It has been a highly successful event every year with thousands of attendees coming from the local community and abroad. Vegtoria is a free to attend, open-air event, so exact attendance numbers are not available. We are proud to keep it a well organized grassroots event that is accessible and inclusive to community members and vendors alike. Vegtoria is organized by the Vancouver Island Vegan Association to promote and celebrate veganism.
This form is an application only. It does not secure your place at Vegtoria. We will respond to you once the form has been received and we have reviewed it. If we accept your application, you will need to pay the vendor fee to secure your spot at the event.
Before applying please note that we only accept vendors who do not use animal ingredients in any of their product line. If you have any questions about this, please ask.
Vendor fees are:
$200 for For-profit vendors (Small business rate also available on a case by case basis upon request)
$50 for Non-profit vendors
All vendor fees include a 8' table and a chair. Many vendor spaces are 10'x10', but some are shared; however, because of limited availability of space non-profits usually have their own table within a shared 10'x10' space.
You must bring your own tent for the event sized no larger than 10'x10'. Some vendors may be place under a large tent with other vendors based on the space available.
Electricity is also available for vendors who require it at the event upon request. There is no extra charge for electrical hookup.
If you are serving any kind of prepared food at the event, you must have a Island Health (VIHA) Temporary Food Service Permit. It is available here:
https://www.islandhealth.ca/sites/default/files/2018-05/temporary-food-service-application.pdfAll vendors selling goods must have a business license. Please contact us if you have any questions about this.
Sponsorship Fees range from $300, which include the vendor fee, to $1000 and up. Ask us about how you can be a sponsor if you are interested for information.
