Yearbook Application 2020-2021
Please read all of the directions carefully and be sure to turn in all parts of this application.
Required Application Materials:
o Completed application
o Parental/guardian approval
o Two teacher’s signatures confirming that they will complete evaluations (completed electronically by the teacher after application is turned in)
As a Yearbook Staff member, your responsibilities will include:
o Designing a yearbook, including photos, captions, layouts, editing, proofing, and graphic design.
o Being responsible for your pages and layouts, including meeting deadlines and time management.
o Attending school events (before, during, and after school) to take photos and sell yearbooks.
o Selling ads this summer to businesses to support the production of the yearbook.
*****Students are required to sell at least $250 worth of ads by October 1, 2020. If the student sells the full amount, his or her yearbook is free. If the student sells less than the full amount, his or her yearbook cost will be proportionate to the amount of ads the student did sell. If no ads are sold, the student will be responsible for the full cost of his or her yearbook and for participating in any additional fundraisers during the year. Ad sales also count as a major grade during the first quarter.
