SJMEA Elementary Choir Festival
Festival Information (Please also refer to emailed information for more details or contact the Event Coordinator.)
  1. Registration fee: $10/student
  2. Festival Date: Saturday, March 23, 2024
  3. Morning Session: 9:00-12:00. Afternoon Session: 1:00-4:00.
  4. Location: TBD
  5. Deadlines: Registration opens January 8 and closes January 26, 2024
  6. Postmark Deadline for payment: Friday, February 23, 2024
Form and Invoice Instructions for Directors:
  • Fill out the registration webform below.
  • Our electronic system will automatically send you an invoice according to the number of students you register. 
  • Submit the invoice to your district or PTO for payment.  (SJMEA will not send a bill.)
  • Remember, your coordinator makes festival arrangements according to the number of students you register.  You must pay for everyone who registers, even if they do not perform.
  • SJMEA accepts payments from districts, booster clubs, PTAs, etc.  for the full amount of the invoice. We do not accept cash or personal checks from parents.

For 2024, our music is both 2-part (Oye, Velvet Shoes, Firefly) AND simple 3-part (Doraji, Shady Grove). 

Our mass choir will be easiest to organize if each school’s choir sings within the configurations below. Please choose one or two for your group. 

Small or beginning choirs may be most successful if all students sing in only one of the configurations. 

Laurie will work with directors after registration closes to balance the parts if needed.
