Kindness Club Application 2023-24
Dear Parent/Guardian:

Your child is invited to participate in Rock Canyon Elementary's Kindness Club! Kindness Club seeks to promote kindness, friendship, and a positive atmosphere throughout the school.

Your child will receive a FREE Kindness Club T-shirt and get to participate in fun, kindness centered school-wide challenges and activities. (*NOTE: T-shirts have already been ordered but haven’t arrived yet and can take couple of months to arrive but should be here by October.)

Students will be participating in lessons and activities held after school and occasionally during lunch.  Activities will be posted on the Kindness Club website. Your child will be able to participate at their own pace throughout the month to complete "Kindness Challenges" at home/school.

Meetings will be held after school 3:20pm-4:00pm on Wednesdays monthly in the Rock Canyon Elementary Gym. These are the dates Kindness club will be held on:

October 4th (FIRST day of club) 

November 1st
December 6th
January 10th
January 31st*
March 6th
April 10th

*No club held in February*

Parents are encouraged to sign up to volunteer if they are able to come and help run Kindness Activities. Please contact PTA if you're able to help.

We will regularly take and use photographs and/or digital images/video/media of the Kindness Club students for use in educational materials and/or school activities. Photos and videos may be included in printed or electronic publications, on websites, or in monthly newsletters. Feel free to contact the Kindness Club Advisor if you have any questions or would like further information.

We are excited for the opportunity to work with your student and are committed to helping them have a great experience in Kindness Club.

Estimado Padre/Representante,
Su hijo(a) ha sido invitado a participar en el programa Kindness Club este año. Kindness Club busca promover la amabilidad, amistad, crear una atmósfera positiva en toda la escuela.

Cada miembro de Kindness Club recibirá una camisa gratis y participarán en actividades de amabilidad en toda la escuela.  (*IMPORTANTE: las camisas ya fueron ordenados y deben llegar en algunos meses, quizas para octubre.)

Los estudiantes participaran en las lecciones y las actividades durante almuerzo o despues de escuela. Todas las actividades estarán disponibles en la página web de Kindness Club. Su estudiante puede participar en "Kindness Challenges" realizando todas las metas en escuela/casa en su tiempo libre durante todo el mes.

Las reuniones seran despues de escuela a las 3:20 hasta a las 4:00 por el tarde una vez al mes (el primer miercoles del mes) en el gymnasio de Rock Canyon Elementary. Los estudiantes participaran el:

4 de octubre (primer dia del club)

1 de noviembre
6 de diciembre
10 de enero
31 de enero*
6 de marzo
10 de abril

*No hay club en Febrero*

Necesitamos voluntarios padres si puede ayudarnos con las actividades del club de bondad. Por favor de contactar al PTA si Ud. pueda ayudarnos.

El programa Kindness Club toma y usa regularmente fotografías y / o imágenes digitales de los estudiantes para su uso en materiales educativos y / o comunicados de prensa. Las fotos pueden incluirse en publicaciones impresas o electrónicas, en sitios web o en boletines mensuales. No dude en ponerse en contacto con el asesor de Kindness Club si tiene alguna pregunta o desea obtener más información.
