Collaborates with Directors, Chapter Presidents, Member Engagement Liaisons, & Mentors

Overview: The director of member engagement provides general oversight and strategic leadership of member engagement activities for the organization. Member engagement director collaborates with chapter presidents to identify and coach chapter member engagement liaisons and chapter mentors to ensure that the goals of the organization and the needs of the chapter members and organization are met.

Role: Member engagement director works directly with the chief executive officer to oversee all member engagement related activities for the organization.

Qualifications: A member engagement director must be a member in good standing of LBB (current membership paid in full) and have served as an active and engaged member of the LBB organization for a period of at least one year. Advantageous skills sets include personable and welcoming demeanor, regional mindset, and strong communication.

Responsibilities:
The member engagement director is asked to serve in the following ways:       
* Oversee organization member engagement and retention efforts to achieve or exceed stated annual goals
* With recommendation from the chapter president, appoint an individual from the chapter
leadership team to serve as chapter member engagement liaison
* With recommendation from the chapter president, and chapter member engagement liaison, appoint an individual from the chapter to serve as a chapter mentor
* Coordinate regular communication with chapter member engagement liaisons and mentors
* Monitor member attendance and participation in chapter and organization events to identify trends and make recommendations accordingly
* Coordinate new member orientation events and oversee new member on-boarding process
* Oversee solicitation of member feedback and distribute feedback accordingly
* Oversee My Accolades and Member Spotlight programs

Term:
* The member engagement director is expected to fulfill a one (1) year term
* The member engagement director is encouraged to attend leadership workshops and retreats
* The member engagement director is expected to attend Director's meetings (once a month)
* The member engagement director is evaluated by the chief executive officer on an annual basis
* The member engagement director shall actively participate with the chief executive officer in establishing a succession plan for their position
