This online training session will be run by the Diocesan Education Team with the support of the Imam from the Craven Arms Islamic Centre. This session will explore:
- the core beliefs of Islam – beyond the Five Pillars
- in depth look at resources for teaching about Islam
- the respectful use of religious artefacts in the classroom
- common misconceptions about the beliefs or practices in Islam
- what to expect on a visit to a Mosque
Delegates will be encouraged to ask their own questions to deepen their understanding of Islamic beliefs and practices.
