About the workshop

For more details of the music, a biography of Emily White and important practical information - eg about the venue, catering arrangements and timetable - see the event flyer at this link. The flyer will also be available from the SEMF website.

The workshop is suitable for cornetts, sackbuts, curtals/dulcians, recorders, viol and violin family, plucked continuo. Violin family players do not need a baroque instrument. If in doubt, please ask! Acceptance will be subject to musical balance. Pitch is 440.

The deadline for booking is 14 April.

Covid - if you have received a positive test, or have any symptoms (eg a sore throat or a persistent cough) which could be covid-19 (or flu), or have been asked to self-isolate, please do not come to the workshop, and let the organiser know; your fee will be refunded on request. If, in the light of circumstances at the time, additional Covid safety precautions should become necessary (eg taking a test the day before the event), participants will be advised by email beforehand.

Workshop fee

The workshop fee is £16 for members of SEMF and other Fora, £22 for non-members. If you are under 26 you can pay a reduced fee of £8. Surcharge of £2 if your booking is received after 14 April.
