2025 Montgomery County Beekeepers Association Bee Impact Fund Application-Nomination Form
Bee Impact Fund mission statement: To support the work of a person or organization that positively impacts honey bees in Montgomery County, Maryland. A nominee or applicant's reach may be broad, but should have a local benefit.

The Bee Impact Fund program is committed to funding of at least $5,000. Donations may be higher, depending on fundraising success during the year.

Nominations/applications will be accepted until July 1, 2025.

Honey bee researchers and any MCBA member in good standing may apply or nominate a person or organization.

Your responses to the following three questions will enable the MCBA Bee Impact Fund Committee to evaluate, compare, and rank prospective funding recipients.

Q2 - What would be the proposed use of this funding (equipment, seed funding,, etc)?

1. Specific ways you plan to use this funding to impact beekeeping

2. Shareable details pertaining to your project that funding will be used to support (general concepts, costs of equipment, etc.)

3. Key takeaways from this project for beekeepers in temperate climates.

4. Any informative links or resources you would like to share.
