SPSC Culture of Service Pledge
As a large institution in Cambridge, it's important to remember to give back as much as the community gives to us. SPSC's mission is to not only involve students in volunteer service, but also to normalize working for the benefit of our neighbors during our education.

The SPSC Culture of Service Pledge is simple: once per academic year, your registered, HKS PIC (student organization) will participate as an organization in a service event of your choosing, preferably as a substitute to a regular social event. The SPSC will handle the logistics of planning and organizing the event with you, and will reach out to your organizations in future years.

Doing so allows for a unique bonding experience for your PIC that can follow or precede a social event, and also provides a bit of continuity for your organization for future years to work with the SPSC to replicate events. And most importantly, you are giving back to the community. Event dates and times are flexible and the pledge is not binding in extenuating circumstances.

Please feel out the form below to learn more about the pledge or to sign it. We request that the PIC's board internally discuss and approve accepting the pledge through whatever internal decision making process the organization follows.
