The world is
going through unprecedented time; rising conflicts, prolonged COVID-19
pandemic, and the worsening climate crisis
The scientific evidence shows climate change is occurring at an
unprecedented rate, and human activities, such as deforestation and burning oil,
coal, and gas, are the primary factors in the acceleration of climate change
over the past centuries. The world is facing significant impacts — from more
frequent and severe weather, flood, land degradation, droughts, ocean warming
and acidification, extended periods of extreme temperatures, and other
deleterious effects of climate change.
So where do we go from here?
We must move from Fossil fuels-powered economies, it is crucial to
identify other ways to reduce carbon whilst navigating to clean and renewable
energy.
The goal of a livable planet is achievable if government, decision
makers, businesses, students, and individuals can transition from current
realities and behaviour to a more climate-friendly society.
This is why we are launching Just Act...
Just Act focuses on Climate Campaign and the Implementation of
Practical, Impactful, Technology-driven Action on Climate Change.
Just Act Campaign shines a light on youths to take the driver's
seat by advocating for clean energy, green transportation, and sustainable
communities, and, with the participation of everyone, we will achieve the desired
future — A Sustainable World!
The global launch will hold during The Global Week to Act for
Sustainable Development with a Focus on Climate; Food Security, Clean Energy and
Waste to Wealth.
Just Act is part of a global mobilization during the high-level
week of the 2022 UN General Assembly (UNGA) to show the world leaders that
people worldwide are committed, dedicated, and inspired to act on the SDGs.
The event will be livestreamed from the Nike Art Gallery Action
