Guidelines
ATD Pittsburgh provides engaging and relevant programming for those attending our Chapter events. Our members attend meetings for a variety of reasons:

     - Networking with peers
     - Enhancing their professional skills
     - Gaining insight into the latest issues and trends
     - Discovering the newest developments in products & services
     - Searching out new sources and suppliers
     - Sharing strategies for better managing challenges

Do you have an enlightening or entertaining program that would benefit our members? Are you interested in speaking for one of our monthly meetings? ATD Pittsburgh welcomes your proposal to provide our chapter with programs that will allow us to advance the profession and the capabilities of all talent development professionals to "create a world that works better."

Following are some guidelines to consider when developing a presentation for ATD Pittsburgh:

How does your program related to the ATD Talent Development Capability Model which defines the skills and knowledge required for talent professionals to be successful now and in the future? It captures changes driven by digital, mobile, and social technology; demographic shifts; globalization; and economic forces. The  ATD Talent Development Capability Model can be found here: https://tdcapability.org.

Programs can be 45-90 minutes in length

Programs should include more than just a presentation or talk, interactive elements and Q&A are important.

Presenters are expected to honor our commitment to provide education by not showcasing or promoting the speaker's practice, services or products.

Note that speakers can also sponsor a chapter meeting, but presentation should be separate from the sponsorship.

Presenters who would like to share their areas of expertise or interest should complete our speaker proposal form.  The form should take 5-15 minutes, depending upon the level of detail you provide.

All proposals will be considered and answered within two weeks. We plan our meetings well in advance so please provide us with several dates you are available to speak.

If you have any questions or need assistance completing this form, please email programming.atdpittsburgh@gmail.com.

Thank you for your interest in speaking at one of our ATD Pittsburgh Chapter meetings.
