Public Patient Involvement and Engagement (PPIE) Specialist Expression of Interest
The NIHR is piloting an inclusion of PPIE specialists to work alongside public members in independent funding selection committees. In this instance, PPIE specialists are defined as individuals that have direct practical  experience in developing and delivering strategies for  involvement and engagement of patients, public and carers in health and social care research and in progressing  effective community engagement approaches to reach marginalised and underserved communities.  Public members are those that have direct experience of a particular health and social care area or caring for someone who does.

We would like to hear from you if you are a Public Patient Involvement and Engagement (PPIE) specialist.

Please complete the application and submit by  9 November 2023.
