Paper proposals for EPISCOPUS at ICMS 2020 (Kzoo)

EPISCOPUS invites you to submit early-stage paper proposals for the 2020 International Congress on Medieval Studies, which takes place 7-10 May 2020 in Kalamazoo, MI, USA.

We seek papers with a title and 1-3 sentences of explanation (abstracts also welcome) that will help us shape the direction of three session proposals focused on the role of bishops and secular clergy in medieval society. Submissions from a wide geographic and temporal scope within the frame of "medieval" are welcome, and we are happy to accept submissions from early career scholars and seasoned Kalamazoo presenters alike. Scholars who presented in the 2018 and 2019 Episcopus Brevia sessions will have preferred consideration.

NOTA BENE: A proposal submission indicates your intent to attend ICMS in Kalamazoo in May of 2020.
