Nominations for Doula of Distinction

Each year at our retreat we recognize a Doula from the UDA. Nominations are open to the general public, and can be found on Facebook and the Utah Doula Association website. The nominations are judged qualitatively and quantitatively by a panel of experienced doulas from the UDA. The doula who is found to be a leader in the birth field and offers family centered support, is awarded at the UDA Fall Retreat by the founder or president of the UDA. Dedicated to provide quality, evidence based and compassionate support, these doulas are creating better outcomes for mothers and babies not only physically but mentally and emotionally as well. All nominations will be disseminated to the nominees whether or not they or members of the UDA or win the award. Join us in filling their cups!
