Greetings! Got a 3D print idea and not sure where to start? Want to laser cut a logo but can only draw it on paper? You've come to the right place! I offer offer sliding scale consulting hours for crafting. These hours are collaborative– meaning I will work with you and teach as much as I can during the time. For some skilled parts, I will directly do the labor, but for much of the crafting time you will be at the wheel.
Some project estimations and ideas:
Custom 3D printed Stamps: ~2 hours (includes a compressed 3D print lab orientation)
Custom wood laser cut signs: ~1-3 hours
Resin coating: ~2 hours, over two sessions
Medium wood shelf + hanging: ~2 hours
Smart home setup and consulting: ~1-4 hours
After you submit this form, I will get back to you within 72 hours with an estimation on time and an outline of the project. You can choose to pay at an hourly rate between $10 - $160/hour.
The hourly rate breakdown is as follows:
$10/hr Pro bono this is a donation of time on my behalf to make my services accessible. No questions/qualifiers needed.
$70/hr At cost this is the suggested starting price. This ensures I can keep eating and pay for ongoing access to tools.
$100/hr Profiting. This starts to empower me to thrive rather than survive.
$160/hr Thriving and subsidizing. This empowers me to keep a sliding scale and skill up in other crafts. Much appreciated!
Payment at the end of each session via Venmo, CashApp, or Paypal.
Project scoping is for free, paid hours will be clearly stated. Crafting can take place at Make Nashville or I can come to you. While I hope to complete a project within a given session, completion is not guaranteed within a given time.
