Anatomy Instructor...Do you find yourself educating clients about their body? In fact, does teaching your clients about their body get you excited? The body is amazing and everyone should learn how our bodies function. If educating your clients gets you excited, then teaching the next generation of massage therapists might be your next exciting new career pathway.
Requires: 3 years in the field as an active LMT/PT/CPT/BS , knowledge of the systems and what they do, ability to relate information from the field to the students.
Days Teaching: Mondays 6 PM to 10 PM
Massage Theory & Practice Instructor...Does learning a new modality and then educating your clients about it create a passion? EMS Massage Theory & Practice Instructors will perform a variety of routine duties, as needed, to teach massage, body work/therapy or therapeutic massage or other therapy which involves manipulation of the muscle and connective tissues of the body in the classroom and in the lab, using a variety of teaching methods such as lectures and demonstrations and using audiovisual and technological aids to supplement the presentations. These are hands on classes that demonstrate modalities, techniques, strokes, and skills. Educate the students on how to safely and successfully perform massages.
Requires: 3 years in the field as an active LMT, knowledge of the different strokes, draping skills, body mechanics, and the ability to relate information from the field to the students.
Days Teaching: Tuesdays and Thursdays 6 PM to 10 PM
Clinic Instructor...EMS Clinic Instructors will perform a variety of routine duties as needed, to supervise students as they perform massages on the public and answer questions about pathologies and conditions that may come across from clients. Watch over the students to provide safety for both the student massage therapist and for the client. Able to answer phones, check SOAP charts, schedule clients with our online booking program, and take payments from clients (cash or credit).
Requires: 3 years in the field as an active LMT, knowledge of the different strokes, draping skills, body mechanics, and the ability to relate information from the field to the students.
Days Teaching: Thursdays 6 PM to 10 PM (February 2024 until August 2024)
Each Position Job Descriptions:
- Provide an engaging and orderly classroom atmosphere conducive to learning.
- Follow daily lesson plans (read material and prepare before the day of class)
- Utilize a variety of educational delivery methods
- Engage within the Elite Massage School community
- Provide supervision for activities
- Maintain professional appearance and attitude in order to set example for students
- Administer exams and maintain an accurate grade book
- Attend staff meetings if needed or keep touch within the FB Instructor Page
- Understand and follow school policies and procedures
- Monitor student grades/attendance and input on a daily basis.
- Follow FERPA, OSHA and HIPAA regulations.
- Duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Must have at least three years of field experience in instructional discipline (what you will be teaching)
Previous instructor experience preferred, but not required.
Must
possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Our

Instructor Pay:
- Instructors are hired at $25 per hour
