Polling day for GE15 has been announced for 19 November and all overseas Malaysians over 18 who have registered as overseas postal voters will be able to vote.
If you are a registered overseas postal voter, ballot papers will be sent to the address you provided after 5th November (Nomination Day). You will have to return your ballot papers before 19th November 5pm Malaysian time to the address marked on the envelope sent to you. This means you will have 14 days (10 working days) to receive your ballot papers in France, to complete them in the presence of a Malaysian witness, and to return them to Malaysia.
As time is very short, MAF is working with all willing volunteers to see how it can support Malaysian voters in France to return their ballots in time. To help us do this, please fill in this form to let us know if you :
- intend to fly back to Malaysia from France between 13th -17th November (arrival preferably by 17th, at latest early morning 18th) and would be willing to bring back ballots.
- need help to find a Malaysian to witness you completing your ballot papers
- would be willing to volunteer to help with coordination, witnessing or anything else
- if you would be interested in sending your ballot back through bulk courrier or by someone flying to Malaysis.
