About the SPEAKER :- Justice Subodhkumar Gunvantlal Shah, a former judge of Gujarat High Court, has completed his graduation in B.Sc. with microbiology as main subject in 1977 and obtained Law Degree in 1981 with Labour Laws.
and LLM with Constitution in the year 1987.
Sir has practiced in almost all areas of law such as civil, criminal, constitutional, revenue, etc in various High Courts including Gujarat High Court, Bombay High Court, National Consumer Commission, etc.
Sir is also the first advocate to adopt computer technology in 1985 and computerised personal office on LAN network.
Sir was also appointed as a Judge of the City Civil & Sessions Court, Ahmedabad by invitation in March 1997 and conducted several Civil & Criminal Cases.
Sir has also handled various Lok Adalats and Mediation as an Advocate and a Judge.
Sir has also being instrumental in implementing various projects of computerisation of New Gujarat HC Complex, Supreme Court, Madras High Court, Gujarat District Courts & entire judiciary.
Sir has been a member of the Standing Committee of the Supreme Court of India.
Sir has introduced e Court in India. He has also attended ‘Asia- Pacific Courts Conference, 2010 at Singapore.
Sir has also dealt with many complex cases as a CBI Judge.
As Judge of Gujarat High Court, dealt with every subject and delivered approx. 19832 judgements in 1260 days.
