Pop-Up Store & Event Assistant ✨ July 2024

As Bijoux De Mimi's pop-up and events assistant, you will be working alongside our team a variety of tasks all involving the success of our summer pop-up, from working as store associate alongside five other team members, to managing giftings at influencer nights and waitressing at events throughout the week. It will be a high intensity but extremely fun ten days.

Responsibilities 🌸
  • Assist and serving customers in-store, providing product information, addressing inquiries, and processing transactions.
  • Learning, understanding and familiarising yourself with our product lists. 
  • Maintaining a clean and organised store environment during the day and at the end of it, including restocking shelves and arranging displays.
  • Assisting with event setup, including packing gift bags, furniture arrangement, decorations, and equipment setup.
  • Engaging in conversation with customers, guests and influencers. 
  • Serving food and beverages during events, ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Help with event cleanup, packing up equipment, and restoring the venue to its original condition before store opening the following morning.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless coordination of events and store days.
  • Always wearing a smile!

Requirements 🌸
  • London based or easy access to SW3
  • Incredibly hard-working and self-driven, capable of getting the job done perfectly whilst the rest of the team is very busy.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and comfortable speaking to crowds of customers.
  • Confident in-front of the camera is a bonus (for social media).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a very fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in retail or customer service preferred.
  • Experience in event support or hospitality is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, confidence is KEY with the Bijoux Girls! 
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, e.g be able to chat to customers whilst serving them.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends during these 10 days.
  • Physical stamina is required, standing for extended periods, and perform repetitive but FUN tasks.
  • A extremely positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow within the role.
