The selection of Teacher of the Year for each Berrien County School is very important, and we would like to have input from parents, students, teachers, and staff members. Each Berrien County school selects a Teacher of the Year annually. Each school's Teacher of the Year is then nominated for the district Teacher of the Year, which will be selected in August 2023. Each year the overall district Teacher of the Year competes for the Georgia State Teacher of the Year.

Berrien County has been blessed to have such great teachers in our system.  We would like to recognize those teachers who have gone above and beyond their normal duties and responsibilities to make a difference in the lives of Berrien County children and the community at large. In addition to our internal selection criteria such as years of experience, certificate clearance, etc., we are looking for a teacher who has outstanding character, inspires ALL students, has a proven track record of high student achievement, and has contributed to both the school and community.  We have started a "B" The Difference campaign and we would urge you to nominate teachers who make a difference each day!

Please note: Anonymous forms will NOT be considered for nomination. Nominations made by immediate family members will NOT be considered. Nominations made by students below 5th grade will need to include the parent's information.
