Student Opportunity Act Plan Survey
As part of the Student Opportunity Act, each district is required to submit a spending plan for the additional funding the district will receive for the FY21-FY23. The purpose of this survey is to gain stakeholder feedback regarding the Student Opportunity Act spending plan.
These plans are required to:
1. Establish targets and outcome measures for addressing persistent disparities in achievement among sub-groups.
2. Identify specific evidence-based programs the district intends to implement effectively to reduce these disparities.
3. Outline how Chapter 70 funds, as well as other local, state and federal funds will be used to implement the plan, including information about school level spending and resources for selected groups.
4. Specify ongoing plans to effectively engage families and measure family engagement efforts, including targeted plans for families of low-income students, English Learners and students with disabilities.
