You don't have to commit to anything now or even full time; room parents provide as much or as little support as they can on a volunteer basis and work with the teachers in the class (some have more or less needs than others) to build out a roadmap everyone is comfortable with.

Yes, there are Co-Room Parents! / some classrooms last year has as many as 4 room parents who split up duties!
