Hands-on Workshops w/ the Pros
Students in the Classes of 2020 and 2021:

Juniors and seniors interested in a career in the construction trades have an amazing opportunity starting Wednesday, October 9. It is the first of six monthly workshops presented by construction professionals.

No experience is required for these hands-on workshops that will teach you the basic skills of construction: framing, electrical, plumbing, tiling, and more. Your participation could qualify you for a paid summer internship.

The workshops are held from 3:00 to 5:00 on the second Wednesday of each month running from October through February---see dates below. The location is the Placer High School wood shop.

If you attend a school other than Placer, you would work with your counselor to arrange for an early release to ensure arriving on time. Transportation is on your own.

Space is limited, so please fill out the application form---required for attendance. We'll confirm if you are one of the 30 participants.

If you have questions, email Ms. Zito at tzito@puhsd.k12.ca.us or Mr. Ramseth at gramseth@puhsd.k12.ca.us.

And thank you.
