Think Again Training & Consulting is launching a second cohort of a new organizational equity service: Antiracist Development for White Leaders, for leaders and decision-makers interested in moving to the next level of personal and organizational equity work. This 8-week, small-group cohort program will be a place for learning, reflection, peer support, and action, based in frameworks of intersectional social justice and challenging white supremacy culture. By addressing how we do our leadership work and confronting common patterns rooted in oppressive systems, we can strategically move organizational culture and practice toward alignment with antiracist values.

The program is most appropriate for people whose roles include two or more of: setting strategic direction for an organization (or division of a larger organization); making personnel (hiring/firing/promotion) decisions; supervising a team; setting policy for an organization (or division of a larger organization). Since different kinds of organizations name their leadership positions differently, it might not be obvious whether this is the right fit for you. If you're not sure, go ahead and register, and we can discuss it!

If you can't make it this time, but you're interested for the future, you can also use this form to get on the list for next time. We recommend that one person per organization participate at a time. If more than one person in your org is interested, we can put folks on the list for next time.

Logistics:

When: Thursdays, 3:00-4:30pm eastern time, for 8 weeks: March 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, April 6, 13, 20; hold April 27 as possible makeup day

Schedule: One of the scheduled sessions falls on the first day (second night) of Ramadan, and another falls on the first day (second night) of Passover. That's why we have scheduled a makeup date. Depending on who's in the group, we may skip one or both holiday dates entirely, or hold them as optional, and use April 27 to complete the series together. Please let us know if you will be taking off either day to observe the holiday:

Sliding scale: This program is offered at a sliding scale of $1000- $3000 per participant, based on the organization's budget.

$1000 - recommended for organizations with annual budgets up to $400,000

$2000 - recommended for organizations with annual budgets between $400,000 and $2M

$3000 - recommended for organizations with annual budgets over $2M

Honor system: For some organizations it might make sense to pay a lower or higher rate than recommended. For instance, if most of your budget goes to providing direct services and comes from restricted funding streams, you might pay a lower rate; on the other hand, if your organization has a small budget because it has a small staff, but the staff are highly-paid professionals, consider paying a higher rate.
