The Bumbassador Program is the foremost opportunity for students to experience all the behind-the-scenes action of SDSU's Hobo Week - basically our Hobo Week hype crew. Students selected as Bumbassadors will work alongside the Hobo Day Committee in promoting and executing some of the most highly anticipated student events of the year, including Rally At The Rails and the Hobo Day Parade. Bumbassadors will act as lead volunteers during the parade and receive recognition alongside the Committee while inspiring involvement in their fellow students.

Expectations:

- Follow & interact with @HoboDay social media accounts
- Advertise Hobo Week events by word of mouth - your friends, your floor-mates, classmates... everybody!
- Attend/assist with as many Hobo Week events as possible (October 18-23):

- - - Monday - Bum-A-Meal - 4:30 in the VBR! Also sign up for the event!
- - - Tuesday - BumFire - 9pm north of the SJAC
- - - Wednesday - BumOver - 7pm at the Market Stage
- - - Friday - Rally At The Rails - 5pm at Downtown Brookings

- Volunteer in your assigned area for the parade on Saturday morning & encourage friends to volunteer, too!

Signing up does not guarantee a future spot on the Hobo Day Committee, but the experience will definitely give you an idea of how we work as a team and what strengths we are looking for in future members. You do not have to be interested in joining the Hobo Day Committee to become a Bumbassador!
