ATTENDANCE:

On time attendance is encouraged for the benefit of student as it shows seriousness and dedication to learning and improvement.  Each student is solely responsible for being ready for a lesson on time.

A.  Tardiness.  Please do not be late for the lesson as the time slot is scheduled in advance and any interruption is highly discouraged.  In tardy situations, lesson will end at the scheduled time and will be charged in full.

B.  Absence.  Student must give proper advanced notice TWENTY-FOUR HOURS prior to the lesson time for absence with good cause, and the lesson will then be rescheduled at the convenience of the teacher.  Notwithstanding personal emergency, such rescheduling may be allowed.

C.  Unexplained Absence or Improper Notice.  In case of unexplained absence or improper notice (notice given within 24 hours of scheduled lesson time), the lesson fee shall be charged in full since the time slot was scheduled and intended for student exclusively in advance.

D.  All attempts will be made to keep the scheduled lesson time by teacher.  Teacher may however notify student for change of schedule and all attempts will be made to give reasonable advanced notice and reschedule the lesson.

LESSON SCHEDULING:

The normal number of lessons will be one each week.  It is possible to arrange for additional lessons if desired.  A student is expected to study year-round.  Your growth as a singer depends on a consistent study plan.  Please check with me regarding holiday observance; lessons continue during most official holidays and during the summer.  If a student chooses not to take lessons in the summer, there will be no guarantee of a fall lesson time.

PAYMENT:

All fees for the month are due and payable in advance at the first lesson of the month.  Please have your payment ready at the beginning of the lesson unless prior arrangements have been made.  Lesson fees are due prior to each month.

SPECIAL 12-Lesson Program:  When enrolled in 12-lesson program ($1,800), the payment is for 12 One-Hour lessons and one additional lesson is at no cost or a bonus lesson: Total 13 Lessons.  (https://parkvocalstudio.com/rates)

MATERIALS:

Students are responsible for making available sheet music to be used for practice and such materials should be provided to the teacher in clear copies before the lesson.

PRACTICE:

Teacher may recommend practices at home and students are encouraged to perform as advised.  Progress will be made most quickly by those students who maintain certain recommended practicing time outside the lessons.

SIGNING CONTRACT:

Each student shall sign the contract and abide by the terms in good faith.  When a student is not yet 18 years old, a parent and the minor student shall sign the contract before the first lesson begins. Upon signing the contract you will be consenting to receive updates and notifications from Park Vocal Studio via phone or text. By opting in, you'll stay informed about upcoming events, lesson schedules, and more.

STUDENT CONCERT:

Concert participation is highly recommended and has been very beneficial for student improvement.  All students gain stage experience and confidence.  All audio and video recordings and photos are exclusive properties of Park Vocal Studio, and the Studio has all rights of publicity in all manners including but not limited to avail them on YouTube and/or other electronic, print or any forum.  The Studio retains the sole rights and discretion.  For concert preparations, additional practice and rehearsal with pianist are offered with additional fees.

The resident of 3 Charity, Irvine, CA is not responsible for any injury, illness, loss, or damages suffered by any person while they are at the said residence.  Typed name will be deemed as your signature.
