Positions: 
Assistant Vocal Director: Helps vocal directors run rehearsals and teaches music to cast. Ideally some experience with vocals. Low to medium time commitment. 

Assistant Stage Manager: helps with taking notes during rehearsals and optionally backstage run crew during shows. Fairly Low Time Commitment

Assistant Lighting Designer: Assists lighting designer in coming up with lighting design for the show, including cues, plot, and cabling. Beginner friendly! Fairly low time commitment, with more commitment during tech week. 

Props Designer: in charge of purchasing, borrowing, or creating all props needed for the show. Fairly low time commitment. We especially encourage freshmen to sign up for this role! 

Sound Designer: in charge of all recorded sounds during the show. They find or record audio clips, acquire and setup audio equipment in the TFL, and run sound during prod week and performances. Fairly low time commitment.  

Publicity Manager: Responsible for taking some of the load off of the producer. Responsible for acquiring programs, dormspamming, ordering T-shirts, etc. Medium Time Commitment

Painter: Helps to paint the set! Fairly low time commitment

Electrician: Helps to wire and hang lights during put-in for shows. Fairly low time commitment overall, but large commitment during lights hang.

Costumes Designer: Comes up with a plan for costumes for each actor and is in charge of assembling costume pieces. (Can be done using help from the actors' wardrobes, pre-exisitng pieces, or making costumes for scratch) Medium Time Commitment

Build Coordinator: Be more involved by helping oversee and coordinate builds! Beginner friendly, medium commitment. 

Build Crew: Will help assemble the stage and other set pieces throughout IAP/Spring. Familiarity with power tools is helpful! Time commitment can vary based on set design, but the more people there are, the lower the commitment will be.

Seamsperson: Helps to sew clothes alongside costume designer. Experience with sewing machines is welcome but not needed. Fairly low time commitment.

Are you interested in being an assistant for any of these roles? If so which? Assistants do a lot of the same work as the lead role, but have less of a time commitment and are very beginner friendly as the lead will act like a mentor.
