Dear Parent,

We're delighted that your child is interested in participating in the EasyA Mentoring Programme!

As a mentor, your child will connect with mentees (from partner schools) and help them with any maths questions they have. We will schedule time slots with your child in advance, when they will be online to mentor.

We hope this will be a rewarding process for mentors, as they give back to the local community and help students get ahead after much-missed schooling over the past few months.

Please read this form carefully and then complete it to confirm you have read and understood it, to give your permission for remote mentoring to take place via EasyA's mobile app.

This covers mentoring between mentor pupils and students from partner schools.

The following guidelines will apply:

- Written parental permission must be obtained before any pupil can take part

- Mentor pupils must be 16yrs old or over

- Sessions will be conducted via messaging, all through EasyA's mobile app (one mentor with
  one partner school mentee)

- All sessions will be reviewed individually and stored on our systems only for safeguarding purposes and for training of future mentors

- No messages or pictures of materials unrelated to maths are allowed

- Tutoring sessions will not be used for marketing purposes

- Mentor students will be supplied with appropriate resources and given training in how to mentor online

- All mentoring sessions will take place at a pre-arranged time each week

- No extra meetings between pupils at other times are allowed

In the event that a student feels there has been inappropriate behaviour, they will be advised to leave the session, note the time, and email EasyA's Designated Safeguarding Officer at Phil@easya.co.uk outlining their concern.

Both parties will be required to have read and understood these guidelines.
