****WE NEED A YES OR NO RESPONSE FROM EVERYONE THAT ATTENDED THE FALL SESSION - THANKS, GINA & KRISTINE

Dates:  January 11, 2022  &  February 8, 2022
Time:  8:30-9:30 am
Location: Virtual Meeting

Workshop Overview: Join us virtually for a two-session follow-up to our fall workshop. Share experiences, ask questions, and take the next steps to building multi-paragraph responses.

- All participants will upload one (or more) collected student writing samples to a shared folder. During the first session, Kristine will use these samples to address specific questions, share tips, and facilitate a group discussion of how to improve and build on targeted writing skills demonstrated in each paper.

- Session two will focus on structuring writing minilessons that include teacher modeling and authentic student writing samples to demonstrate specific writing and thinking skills.

>> In these sessions, participants will:

A) Review and troubleshoot strategies for building the writing fluency, habits, and skills required for OST success

B) Analyze student writing samples to target critical writing skills

C) Learn strategies for effective modeling and use of student writing samples to demonstrate specific writing skills

>>Important - Post Registration Instructions for Participants:

#1 - Please upload at least one student writing sample from your class to the shared Google folder at  https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1VxgnFMaK3CvSBgPhiWSEBfKBxTc-PbLx
