SEPTA, Special Education Parent Teacher Association, provides a consistent and unified voice in our school district and is geared specifically to meet the needs of and provide resources to families who have children with special learning and/or emotional needs.
We offer support to parents, teachers and caregivers through special events including, but not limited to:
★ Speaker Series - Experts share educational tools for families and educators.
★ Member Meetings provide:
○ Educational information on current medical research;
○ Insights on interventions and methodologies;
○ New requirements that all families need to understand to effectively advocate for their
children.
★ Social Events and Fundraisers - Including our annual Halloween event, Spa night, End-of-Year Celebration and meet & greets.
The SEPTA organization is unique as it provides one district-wide forum for families from preschool through age 21.
