AGES 14-16: Summer Dance Intensive (SDI)
August 16-20 - 10:00am-3:30pm EST (daily)
Theme: ChoreoLab
Develop your unique artistic voice in a dynamic movement journey and performance. SDI is a movement exploration of Ballet, Modern, ChoreoLab, Hip Hop, and African Dance. Students develop their own unique movement vocabulary through the use of the Language Of Dance tool.
AGES 16-20: Advance Summer Dance Intensive (ASDI)
August 23-27 - 10:00am-3:30pm EST (daily)
Theme: Repertory
ASDI motivates seasoned dancers to challenge themselves and elevate their technical proficiency and artistic abilities. Personalized instruction hones artistry and expression through in-depth improvisational, partnering and compositional techniques with renowned NYC- and Kansas City-based artists from The DynamitExperience.

1. IN-PERSON AUDITION:
Sunday, May 23, 2021 - 2 slots available - 10:00-11:00am EST and 11:30am-12:30pm EST at the Dancewave Center (182 4th Avenue) in Gowanus, Brooklyn, NY. Limited capacity, following CDC guidelines.
2. LIVE VIRTUAL AUDITION:
Sunday, May 23, 2021 - held via Zoom - 1:00-2:00pm EST. Zoom access link provided via email. Unlimited slots available.
3. SUBMIT VIDEO:
Youtube and Vimeo links accepted on a rolling basis through Monday, July 12, 2021 at 11:59pm EST.
SUBMITTING VIDEO AUDITION:
Total amount of dance footage submitted should not exceed 10 minutes. Please share 1-3 videos of any dance genre you would like to showcase. Youtube or Vimeo links only - provide either an "Private/Unlisted" link or provide password below.
MAY 23 AUDITIONEE DISCOUNT:
Special discount exclusive - Take 5% off Summer Intensive tuition - for May 23 Auditionees (In-person or Virtual) only! Upon acceptance to the program, May 23 Auditionees will receive a discount code via email from the Dancewave team. Don't wait! Must register by July 2, 2021 at 11:59pm to utilize this discount.

- Friday, June 11: Deadline to submit Audition Video Links
- Friday, June 11: Deadline to apply for Summer Scholarship
- Friday, June 18: Acceptance and Scholarship notifications sent
- Friday, July 2: Deadline to apply 5% Auditionee Discount - available to May 23 In-person and Virtual Auditionees only at the time of registration

After completing this registration form, you will be contacted by a Dancewave team member to schedule your audition class or confirm your video submission. In-person Audition slots are first come, first served, due to limited capacity and CDC guidelines. Auditionees will be registered for the Live Virtual Audition once we reach capacity.
A 50% tuition payment is required to complete your registration and secure your spot. The remaining 50% tuition balance will be processed at the start of the intensive.
