Sponsored by the Algorand Foundation ( https://algorand.foundation/about-us )

FREE and FULLY VIRTUAL

The Boston Blockchain Association: “Gateway to Blockchain Entrepreneurship” is a 9-week summer program designed to expose students to applications of Blockchain, introduce them to the players pushing the technology forward, and fully immerse them in a from-scratch team Blockchain startup-plan competition. Each week consists of an hour speaker series from a Blockchain Startup Founder, Business Leader, or Venture Capitalist consisting of a discussion on their own experience, networking, and advice on a part of the startup conception process.

The program launch is in direct response to the idea that talent is left out of the ecosystem due to unnecessary barriers. Rather than being curriculum-driven, “The Gateway” exposes students to the Blockchain ecosystem through applied learning and human-centric interaction: enabling students to envision how their own skills and background can provide value in the space. This program is designed to welcome students of all backgrounds, genders, and career interests to the possibilities of Blockchain technology.
