2023-2024 Calendar FAQ
Although there have been several well attended parent meetings and additional meetings at all campuses with staff, we want to give one additional opportunity for questions to be asked regarding the possible transition to a four-day instructional week beginning next school year.

Please submit any questions you have regarding the potential transition to a 4-day instructional week for students beginning next year.   Parents and staff will have ample time to review all details and prepare for the upcoming calendar vote which will take place in the upcoming weeks.

Here are a couple of the high points:
The proposed day off for students is Monday.
The non-instructional day would be a staff work day, with one day per month being a professional development day.
The student day will be 15-25 minutes longer than the current day. Start and end times will be adjusted per campus.
Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Spring Break will not be affected.
The proposed calendar has the first day of school August 8th and the last day May 30th.
Teachers would report July 31st and the last day is May 31st.
