These meetings take place in person at Foundation for Recovery, 4800 Alpine Place, Las Vegas, NV. Meetings are open to families who have or had a loved one in the carceral system, their youth, and family members returning from the carceral system. During these meetings, a light meal will be served, along with support meetings and/or a speaker. Simultaneously, the youth will have their own engaging and fun activities. Prison Families Alliance (PFA) CARES (Community, Advocacy, Resources, Education and Support) provides a safe and supportive environment for everyone that attends. PFA cannot allow participation by any person convicted as a sex offender. This protects program participants and helps ensure that the returning citizen does not violate the terms of their probation/parole.
