Write Rhode Island Summer Program                Fairytales and Fiction

In each session of this five-week course, we read and explore fairy-tales, folk tales, and myths from the classics to contemporary versions of fairytales. We will discuss characteristics of fairytales, everything from troubled worlds, menacing villains, heroes/heroines, mystical beings and more. And, of course, we will write our own fairy tales inspired by the reading. The goal of the class is to write and workshop two fairy-tale inspired stories.

Time:  10am-1pm
Instructor: Eve Kerrigan
