Havering Safeguarding Young Advisors (HSYA) - Application Form
Do you live in Havering? If so, the Havering Safeguarding Children Partnership (HSCP) is currently recruiting young people aged 15-24 to become Havering Safeguarding Young Advisors.

Young Advisors is a youth-led programme that aims to get young people actively involved in safeguarding issues in their local communities and to help ensure the interest of children and young people when it comes to decision-making.

Our Havering Safeguarding Young Advisors will receive free training from the National Young Advisors Organsiation and gain AQA qualifications.

It is a flexible role that can fit around your academic study, work and any other activities.  The role may see you work on council projects that need children and young people's views on safeguarding issues, see you attend council meetings, help prepare reports, blogs or surveys, be part of interview panels, create videos or even give presentations. Your expenses will be covered and you will receive incentives or a paid fee for your work on projects or tasks.

Closing date for applications is 10th January 2023.

The information you provide will be confidential and will only be held for our records to help with the recruitment of the Havering Safeguarding Young Advisor role.
