The Secretary is the authorized agent in charge of processing space requests with the University, Campus Rec, the Illini Union & Wesley.
There has been a
policy update: Please submit requests
AT LEAST 10 REGULAR DAYS before your event. This
DOES NOT include the day of submission. If you are submitting this form less than 10 days before your event, please know that I will not be able to submit a request. Instead, you can check room availability here:
https://operations.web.illinois.edu/events/. Do note that after you submit this form, I will need to submit a request to the RSO office, so if you submit a space request at 10 PM ten days before your event I will likely be unable to submit it in time.
Please note that for space requests involving purchase requests (multimedia equipment for the illini union, illini grove, etc.) this may take longer than ten days as I would need to work with the VP of Finance in order to secure the room. Submit those ones as soon as possible.
I do not do campus rec court rentals. However, if you need help in setting those up, feel free to reach out to me as I have done them in the past.
The EARLIEST possible date to submit a request for is: January 19 (last updated 1/8). If you are submitting for a date before then, the request will be denied as it is not 10 days in advance.
I do not control what rooms your event gets placed at, that is up to the RSO Office.
