The Dane County School Consortium Youth Apprenticeship Scholarship is available to current Seniors who have participated in Youth Apprenticeship at one of the DCSC YA Consortium Member School Districts. Four One-Thousand Dollar Scholarships will be awarded.
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:
1) The application must be completed and returned to the Dane County School Consortium office no later than March 22nd.
2) ALL parts of the application form must be completed to be considered for a scholarship (please double check to make sure it is completely filled out before submitting your scholarship application).
3) A High school transcript must be attached. (Unofficial copies are okay).
4) A Letter of Recommendation from your mentor must be attached.
5) Applicants shall attend the YA recognition program on April 24, 2024.
6) Awardees must successfully complete the YA program (earn a DWD certificate for enrolled level(s)) to be awarded a scholarship. (Students failing to complete required instruction or work hours, will not be awarded a scholarship).

Scholarships recipients will be notified no later than April 10, and presented at the annual YA recognition program (April 24, 2024). To be awarded the scholarship, all winners must attend the YA program. The scholarship funds will be provided to the winners upon successful completion of the DCSC YA program and first semester of schooling/training following selection. Verification of successful completion of the first semester of schooling/training is the responsibility of the applicants; a transcript/report must be submitted to the Dane County School Consortium office, 5900 Monona Drive, Suite 202, Monona, WI 53716.
Four (4) scholarships will be awarded valued at $1000 each.
