2022 FARM FAMILY OF THE YEAR - NOMINATION FORM

The Laurel Area Farm Family of the Year award serves as an important opportunity to recognize and honor farm families throughout the Laurel, Nebraska area for their contributions to the agriculture industry and our local economies.  We are currently seeking nominations for the 2022 Laurel Area Farm Family of the Year.

The family will be recognized during the annual Laurel Area Agribusiness Appreciation Banquet to be held on Sunday, January 22, 2023 at the Laurel Community Center.  The banquet featured speaker is Jaclyn Wilson, operating partner with Wilson Flying Diamond Ranch and includes entertainment by the renowned Peterson Farm Brothers.  The evening will honor agriculture producers and agribusinesses who continue to make significant contributions to our local communities.

The deadline for receiving nominations is Tuesday, January 17th.  

Nomination Criteria

Please nominate a family using the criteria below.  Farm Families should:

1) Be a Laurel Area producer actively involved in agriculture production.

2) Have demonstrated a commitment to enhancing and supporting the fields of agriculture and production.

3) Have some involvement in their communities and/or related organizations.
