We are seeking your nominations for the following PNAIRP
Executive Committee (PNAIRP Board) positions. Please
nominate yourself or a colleague by completing this one page form.
Current open positions:Vice President (/President/Past President): This role serves in three positions over a three-year term. In the first year, the next Vice President leads the Executive Committee in organizing our next annual conference in Washington in November 2023 and supports the President and executive team in accomplishing other strategic priorities. In the second year, the President works with the committee to identify strategic priorities for the year, supports the annual conference, and serves as the representative of the organization to the public and the national IR organization (AIR). In the third year, the Past president provides general guidance to the executive committee as needed and manages the annual election process.
Member-at-Large (2 positions): Members-at-Large serves a two-year term and supports the committee both generally and in specific areas like local conference arrangements, grants and scholarships, sponsorship, membership/marketing, and professional development opportunities. Please let us know what special interests and skills you can bring to the exec committee.
What does it entail?The Executive Committee is a highly collaborative volunteer "working board." Each year the board takes on a set of priorities for its membership and works to put on a high-quality annual regional conference.
We meet in person at the annual conference and invite the new committee members to join us (attendance requested, but not mandatory; call-in can be an option). We otherwise ordinarily meet via conference call roughly once a month, with assignments and project work occurring in-between.
Why do it?It's a rewarding professional development, volunteer, and leadership opportunity with an incredible group of IR professionals in our region. It is beneficial to IR staff all career levels.
