Before you start, we want to say something about life style in Tramonti

We are a small non profit association in the rural area of the beautiful Amalfi Coast! While here, you will get a chance to:
- be outdoors and in nature
- do community gardening
- share intercultural experience (such as food, dance,...)
- be part of and contribute to the community
- work with people of all ages and of different backgrounds
- get to know rural sustainable development actions also from the perspective of rural life style

Work and life in our association

We are a non-profit association in Tramonti. This is a rural area. Our office is in a place with a terraced garden. In this kind of environment we would expect you to help with many different kind of tasks. Since we implement all our activities by ourself, these tasks include on the one hand the preparation and implementation of the actual projects, online communication of these projects and work of the association, but on the other hand also tasks related to the care-taking of the community-like office and the living together. Depending on the project we have different and non-continuous work rhythms. During implementation of hosting groups of young people for educational purposes, we live with the project, work intensly for 1-2 weeks for their hosting, stay with them, are responsible for all questions of programme, social media communication, well-being, logistics, accomodation and food, and may have only short breaks. During other periods, we are more relaxed and work less than than full-time to balance the overall work-load. Furthermore, we take care of the office and the garden where we stay together (cleaning, gardening, small work, cooking, transforming of food, etc.).
Finally, some of our projects are only determined some months before they happen, so it will be the case that by the moment you apply we cannot yet tell you what exactly will be the projects. This depends on other institutions' funding decisions which may only be published on short notice. Moreover, not everyone will participate in all projects at the same time, but there will be split responsabilities. The positive experience you could take from this is the being part of the cultural activities that we do, the insight you gain in the youth projects and the multi-level experience in all different aspects of these activities and their implementation.
Now we would like to find out about your expectations of your experience and the tasks you will be included in.

Our association is involved in different activities, depending on the year and the season. Here are some examples of activities in which you could be involved in during your stay. In which of these tasks do you already have experience?

Communication: Social media communication, article writing, podcast creation, taking of pictures and videos of events and other activities, poster and brochure design, updating a website, etc.

Video editing

Doing workshops with young people from 4 - 30 yo

Working with young people with special needs or disabilities

Our community office: Participating in the gardening, grass cutting, cleaning, etc.

Hosting and coordinating interns and volunteers, groups of visitors or other cultural / environmental events

Our community office: Participating in the food transforming and cooking

Writing concepts, applications and reports for youth projects and environmental projects

Being staff for youth projects (intense project work for the whole period of 1-2 weeks, "living" together with the project)

Follow up with local farmers on the state of their fields and measurements to undertake
