Dear Music Students and Parents,
The airline industry is undergoing major changes. Therefore, we are working to reserve our plane seats well in advance of our 2025 Music Department Orlando Music Tour. Dates: January 15-19. We will be performing and enjoying some Disney parks as well as Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure.
We need ALL 8th through 11th grade choir, band, and orchestra students to complete this form regardless of your intentions. Our goal is to get all of the yes's, maybe's, and no's sorted out.
PLEASE FILL THIS OUT ON OR BEFORE TUESDAY, APRIL 30th!
BALDWIN HIGH SCHOOL MUSIC DEPARTMENT
Dear Music Students and Parents,
Every other year, the students in the high school music department join together to go on a music tour. This tour, only in the beginning phases of planning, is a Music Department Tour to Disney, Orlando January 15th-19th, 2025. This Google Form is only an interest form to gather information on numbers of students interested, not a commitment. The music tour will require administration and school board approval before we move forward. The music tour is a great opportunity for your child to enhance their skills and talent in a professional performance setting that will add to the developmental skills necessary for their futures. Encouraging good peer interaction, the exercising of good judgment, getting along with others, and the development of strong people skills in a safe and guided atmosphere are just some of the things promoted and closely monitored while on these tours. Students build positive social relationships and make memories that will stay with them for the rest of their lives. Eligible students in the Baldwin High School Choir, Baldwinaires, Orchestra, or Band may sign up for the trip. The cost will be determined by how many students and parents are going and unpredictable things such as the price of a barrel of oil. The last trip was around $1800.00. With the help of our amazing Music Patrons, we will have tons of fundraisers ready to go! Please email us with any questions.
Thank you,
Mrs. Hawk, Mr. Tranter, and Ms. Virgin
