WALK & ROLL TO SCHOOL: Help plan and support this awesome event that encourages walking, riding and scooting to school on 10/6. It's great for the environment and good fun too!
PUMPKIN PATCH: Help plan and promote our annual fall pumpkin patch fundraiser! This is an easy one- Westbrae provides the pumpkins and we spread the message.
BOOK FAIR: Help plan a fun week of literary festivities that support Cornell’s library!
STAFF APPRECIATION: Help us create a culture of care for our beloved Cornell staff and teachers by planning fun festivities and treats for them throughout the year.
COYOTE FUN FITNESS WEEK: Help plan our biggest fundraiser of the year where fun and fitness are celebrated and we raise nearly 30k for our school!
POPSICLE WEDNESDAYS: Bring a time honored Wednesday tradition to Cornell kids each Wednesday. This job requires Wednesday afternoon availability and a Costco membership.
GREEN SCHOOLYARD TEAM: Help beautify our school grounds and bring nature, education and play to our kids outdoors by volunteering in our garden and on our schoolyard.
CORNELL'S GOT TALENT: Join event chair Gregg Scharfstein to plan the beloved Cornell tradition where students showcase their hard work and talents at a performance in front of the entire school community.
TRANSLATORS: Help the PTA make our communications more accessible to the entire community. If you are fluent in a language other than English, we would love your help translating our key documents.
PTA EXECUTIVE BOARD: We are always looking for people who might want to join the board and be more involved on a leadership level.
GRANT WRITERS: There are external funding opportunities (i.e. not parent donations) that have not been pursued because of a lack of dedicated effort seeking grants. We want to close this gap by finding experienced grant writing volunteers in our community.
LIBRARY TECH: Ms. Staton, our amazing librarian, needs some parent volunteers to keep the library open for students during the day. Volunteers will support kids as they look for books, check books in & out, and reshelve books.
GENERIC INTEREST: We are looking for people who have some flexibility and are open to us reaching out with volunteer opportunities as they arise.
