VCLN Community Response and Recovery Corps
We are now recruiting a cohort of 8 – 15 local leaders* working on projects and initiatives that will help their community and our state respond to and recover from the pandemic. Members of the Community Response and Recovery Corps (CRRC) will build connections, learn from each other, provide mutual support, and connect with resource providers. VCRD will serve as a convener and facilitator. Members of CRRC will come together for 12 group zoom sessions of 60 minutes over the course of six months. Sessions will include full and small group discussions and guest speakers. Participants will also have access to one-on-one project coaching from VCRD staff and partners.

Please complete this short form if you are interested in joining the Community Response and Recovery Corps. This cohort will come together via Zoom for hour-long lunchtime sessions twice monthly from April - September of 2021. The deadline to apply for participation in this program is March 29, 2021.

*Are you wondering if you are a leader? Our answer - everyone is a leader in their own way. If you are trying to make things better in your neighborhood or community in any way, you qualify.

The first session will happen Wednesday April 14. Note: We grapple with the question of when to hold these sessions so that most folks have the opportunity to participate. There is no perfect time. If you would be interested in a program like this but the timing doesn't work for you, please let us know in the final question. *
