ChildrenSong is looking forward to offering rehearsals and performances in person for the Spring 2022 semester!

Singers will be required to wear masks and follow CDC guidelines. Please be advised that some venues will require all choristers to be vaccinated. As a result, we will be requesting that all choristers provide their vaccination status. Our staff will be speaking individually with each family of choristers regarding vaccination status. Thank you for your understanding and anticipated cooperation.

All new and returning singers must complete this registrations form for the Spring semester.

REHEARSALS
The choir will hold rehearsals at Lutheran Church of Our Savior at 204 Wayne Ave in Haddonfield during the Spring 2022 semester. Enter through the main doors and go up the stairs to the SANCTUARY. There is also an elevator if needed.

TUITION - Tuition rate for Spring Semester is $250/singer. There is a $50 discount for each additional sibling.

Payments can be made via personal check made payable to ChildrenSong of NJ (turn in at the first season choir rehearsal) or Venmo @ChildrenSong.

REHEARSALS on MONDAYS:
Children's Choir (3rd - 5th grade) - 5:30-6:30pm
Youth Choir (6th - 8th grade) - 6:30-8:00pm
Cantate Singers (9th - 12th grade) - 6:30-8:30pm

Saturday (once a month) rehearsal times:
Cantate Singers: 8:00-10:00am
Youth Choir: 8:00-9:30am
Children's Choir: 10:00-11:00am

ATTIRE
All choir members must have a ChildrenSong blue polo shirt (first one provided) and plain black pants and shoes (purchased on your own) for various performances and events throughout the season. The Children's Choir (grades 3-5) will wear blue polo and plain black pants and black shoes for ALL performances. It is important to note that the polo shirt must be able to be tucked into trouser-type pants or solid black jeans (no tears or holes). Leggings and stretchy pants are not acceptable because the shirt does not tuck into them well.

New choir members receive a new ChildrenSong blue polo shirt with the cost of their tuition. Any returning choir members who need a blue polo shirt (due to loss or outgrowth) may turn their current shirt in for a gently used polo shirt (pending availability). If you prefer a new polo shirt, the cost is $25.

ABSENCES
Absences are limited to 3 full rehearsals per semester January-May. If singer misses 1/2 of a rehearsal, it counts as half an absence. Singers who are on-line MUST be present and on camera for the duration of attended rehearsal. Any known attendance issues must be addressed at the start of the semester with Ms. Murray. Excessive absences may jeopardize concert and tour participation.

Code of Conduct and Commitment to ChildrenSong *

We fully understand the strong commitment to ChildrenSong and the need to commit to one complete semester, for which we are registered.

Absences shall not exceed THREE per semester. If rehearsal is recorded, singer must request recording to review.

We grant ChildrenSong permission to record rehearsals or take pictures of rehearsals/performances and post on Social Media

Singers must exhibit respectful behavior at all times in rehearsal and at concert. Poor behavior will not be tolerated and will result in one warning/conference with parent. If behavior continues, singer will be dismissed from Choir.
