North Carolina Division on Career Development and Transition  (NCDCDT)          2023 Lighthouse Award Nomination
The North Carolina Division on Career Development and Transition (NCDCDT) is proud to announce the sponsorship of the NCDCDT Lighthouse Award to recognize outstanding service in the field of Transition. 

This award will be given to an individual or group that has made a difference through commitment and dedication to ensuring that all students with disabilities in North Carolina make a successful transition from school to adult life. 

Nominees for the award may be Adult Service Providers, Business Leaders, Central Services Personnel, Civic Groups, Parents, Post-Secondary Educators, Principals, Teachers, or Transition Coordinators.

The 2023 Lighthouse Award recipient will be announced at the NCDCDT 2023 Transition Conference (April 26-28, 2023) during the Plenary Session (Wednesday - April 26, 1:00PM - 5:00PM), held at the Embassy Suites in Greensboro, NC.

The ​2024​ Transition Conference registration fee will be waived for the 2023 NC DCDT Lighthouse Award recipient.

Nomination Deadline: April 10, 2023
→Nominations for the NCDCDT 2023 Lighthouse Award will be accepted by the NCDCDT Executive Board through April 10, 2023.
 The individual making the nomination will be notified by ​April 12 , 2023 if their nominee is the recipient of the award. 

Any interested individual may submit one or more nominations.

Nominations are reviewed and judged by the Executive Board of the NCDCDT.
