103.13.01 Provisional Coaching Certification

In the event a coach / candidate has not received certification at the close of the clinic schedule, the coach may petition the US Coaches Education Committee for provisional access to the event. All prerequisites and background screening must be completed through US Ski & Snowboard and a $100 application fee will be charged.

Please submit the below information. You will be notified if your petition is granted and access permitted within 72 hours of completion. Payment will be taken on site at the 2023 USASA National Championships.

If you are an international coach you will pay $50 on site and sign waivers and receive an armband and lift tickets once your home country coach verification can be satisfied.

As a USASA member coach in good standing I attest that:

I am a coach working more than 60 hrs a season.

I have completed online coach education through US Ski & Snowboard or other applicable education curriculum through a verified reciprocating organization: PSIA, AASI, IFSA etc.

I have completed all Safe Sport education .

I have successfully passed a background screen with US Ski & Snowboard

I have not had access to an on snow coach assessment, or I would have completed my training.
