Bay Area GPS 2021  - Peer Advisor/Mentor Sign Up

This year Bay Area GPS will be all virtual. We will be holding a Peer Advisor Panel and an Optional Peer Mentor pairing.

Peer Advisor Panel: panel made up of 3-5 graduate students to speak on various topics. Panelists are expected to prepare a 1-slide introduction with images and a few descriptors (we will provide template). Questions will be topical, relating to the panel title and panelists should come prepared to discuss their experiences.

Peer Mentor: mentors will be paired with attendees who indicate that they would like to be paired after the event. Mentors are expected to meet at least twice with mentees to discuss topics including but not limited to grad application prep, REU selecting, essay prep, resume construction, and contacting advisors.
